The Nose Glider is exactly what its name suggests—a noserider that glides effortlessly through sections. Built as the everyday longboard Matt always wanted, it combines traditional elements with genuine versatility, creating a board that feels equally at home in clean point waves, choppy beach breaks and playful summer surf.
For years, Matt searched for a longboard that simply made surfing easy. Something that fit within the traditional longboard paradigm without becoming overly technical or unnecessarily heavy. Inspired by decades of surfing, coaching and feedback from students, the Nose Glider embraces the philosophy that surfing should be enjoyable, approachable and rewarding for everyone.
A smooth, continuous rocker, generous nose area with a teardrop concave and balanced template create exceptional stability for cross-stepping and nose riding. Through the tail, there is light roll flowing into subtle panel vee, giving the board a responsive, lively feel while maintaining effortless trim. Paired with the Orchard All-Rounder fin, it carries speed through flat sections, carves confidently through chop and allows smooth, flowing surfing with some added spice.
Designed to perform in waves from 1–4 feet, the Nose Glider is the everyday log you'll reach for more than any other. It suits beginners wanting a forgiving traditional longboard, experienced surfers looking for an uncomplicated all-rounder, and anyone who simply wants to enjoy the glide of a classic log without the weight or specialised feel of many traditional noseriders.
Available as a stock model in 9'3" and 9'6" with an airbrushed spray and sanded finish, it is glassed medium weight for purposeful flex. The Nose Glider can also be customised with premium stringers, Volan glass, resin tints and a gloss polish. Ride it a little shorter for increased manoeuvrability or size up for maximum glide and nose-riding potential.
